Board Meetings:
Regular monthly Board meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month from May through December, and on the second Friday of the month from January through April.
All Board meetings are held at the Hilt Church in Hilt and begin at 6:00 P.M.
The Agenda for each meeting is distributed to Board members in
advance and is also posted here (see below) at least 48 hours prior to the meeting.
All Board meetings are open to the public, and all community members are encouraged to attend.
Any time there is a closed session as part of a regular Board Meeting, the public will be asked to leave.
No formal action is taken in closed sessions and if action is required the closed session is adjourned and the official Board Meeting is extended and any action is taken at that time.
NOTE: When a meeting date must be changed, the new date will be posted here on this page in advance of the meeting.
Board members, their Board positions and terms, and any specific titles are listed on
our Fire District Personnel page, along with information about Special Districts Board elections.
Next Board Meeting: 6:00 pm Thursday, November 9th, 2023.
The Agenda for the November meeting will be posted here ahead of the meeting date in printable (pdf) format.
The November meeting will be held in person at the Hilt Church.

Archived Minutes:
Our hard-copy archives go back to the first neighborhood meetings
in 1981, following the Colestin Fire on August 10th of that year, which
prompted the formation of the Fire District during 1982 and 1983; the Colestin Rural Fire District received its legal mandate from Jackson County on August 24th, 1983.
As time permits, we will add more previous minutes to these online
archives.
